SIMPLE INSTALLATION Go LED easily! You can easily upgrade all of your fixtures with LED lighting with our led corn cob 480v. immediately attaches to E39 Mogul Bases. Just screw in. Keep in mind that ballasts must be avoided. (Drivers, not ballasts, are used by LEDs.)

Q1: Do LED corn bulbs get hot?

A1: LED bulbs do get warm, however a heat sink in the base of the bulb dissipates the heat. The heat then escapes into the air, keeping the LED bulb cool and enabling it to live up to its extended life guarantee.

Q2: Do COB LEDs need resistors?

A2: They don't have resistors or other current-limiting components built in. You must offer this. The dimmer appears to have no current limitation and only pwm the signal. You can most likely arrange them in parallel since modern led process control is so good that leds from the same batch can frequently be arranged that way.

Q3: What voltage is COB LED?

A3: The LED COBs we are focused on range in size from 25x25mm to 35x35mm and typically require 36V of forward voltage per chip.
